KPH means keystrokes per hour extrapolated from a shorter sample. Entering 300 characters over three minutes gives 100 KPM and 6,000 KPH. That does not prove you can hold the same rate for an hour.

Automatically inserted group separators count as characters. Backspace removes entries before scoring. Accuracy is correct remaining characters divided by all remaining characters. Employer software may count separators and corrections differently.
