Privacy at Typewell

Typewell is designed to work without an account, cookies required for core features, or email collection. Typing sessions, settings, and progress are stored locally in your browser on this device.

Local storage

Your browser stores progress so your history and preferences remain available when you return. You can export a JSON backup, import a previously exported backup, or reset local progress from the Progress page.

Typing content

Typewell does not send individual keystrokes or custom typing text to a remote service for core practice. Avoid entering sensitive information into custom exercises.

Advertising

Advertising may be added in reserved areas outside the typing interface. Any future advertising or measurement services will be disclosed and configured separately from local typing functionality.
